About Rex Mack

Some Background Information

I grew up playing on the ball fields behind our city hall. I graduated from BBHHS in 1987. After graduating from Ohio University, Kathy and I made a conscious decision to make Brecksville our home and the place to raise our children. My business partner and I have built and run our business in Brecksville. The majority of our clients and our very closest friends reside in Brecksville. Our three children attend Brecksville-Broadview Heights Schools. I am the head junior varsity basketball coach at our high school and have been coaching multiple Brecksville travel and recreation teams all year round for years. I am the chairman of the City of Brecksville's Recreation Commission and am a parishioner at St. Basil's Church. I served on the advisory board of Brecksville's Western Reserve Bank. As an officer and member of the Cuyahoga Valley Native Sons and Native Daughters organization, I've gained some of my most cherished relationships and helped foster a meaningful and fulfilling community mission. With a tremendous respect and appreciation for our city's past, I plan to live here for as long as I can imagine.

Why Am I Running for Brecksville City Council?

Friends have been asking me why I am running for City Council. Anyone that knows me, knows that I am passionate about our community. Particularly because I plan to live in Brecksville for as long as I can imagine, the future of our community is very important to me. It is absolutely exciting to me to have the opportunity to influence and shape the future of the community I plan to live in the rest of my life.
